Your data

Nothing is saved unless you choose. While you work, a draft is kept in this tab so a refresh does not lose it, and it is gone when you close the tab.

Do not use this on a shared or public computer. Your invoice details are stored in this browser until you clear them.

The backup file holds your details as plain text. Keep it somewhere private.

How to make an invoice in four steps

  1. Choose the type. Pick Invoice, Estimate or Receipt, then the language the document should use and the paper size.
  2. Fill in the details. Add your business, the client, and the lines you are charging for. Only the client name is required.
  3. Check the preview. The preview is the page you will get. Add a discount, tax or shipping if you need them and watch the totals change.
  4. Download or print. Download a PDF with real text, or print it. Turn on Remember only if you are on your own device.

Where your data goes

Everything you type is handled by your browser. Our code does not upload your invoice, and this page loads no ads and no third-party scripts.

By default nothing is saved. A draft is kept in this tab only, so a refresh does not lose your work, and it disappears when you close the tab. If you turn on Remember on this device, your details are stored in this browser until you press Clear saved data. Do not turn it on at a library, a school or a shared work computer.

The tool never asks for a card or bank number and cannot take payments. If you type something that looks like a card number into a text box, it warns you.

Frequently asked questions

Is this really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you make.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser only. A draft sits in this tab until you close it. It is saved on this device only if you turn on Remember on this device, and you can clear it at any time.

Can I send the invoice from here?

No. Download the PDF and attach it to your own email or message.

Why does the PDF look different from my printer?

A printer or browser may add its own margins, headers or footers. The PDF download is the exact page. If you print, turn off headers and footers in the print window.
